James Judge to Head GTT Japan Operations

Global Technology Transfer Group, Inc., (GTT) announced the further expansion of its Japan Advisory Practice with the naming of James Judge to lead the Patent Asset Services Group in Japan.

James has lived and worked in Japan for seventeen years and is a registered U.S. Patent Agent. James relocated to Japan and worked for a Japan based patent law firm, providing technical translation support, before forming his own consulting firm. He became a U.S. registered patent agent and formed his own patent firm in Kobe, Japan.

James has significant prosecution and technical translation experience in mechanical, electromechanical, medical-instruments, chemistry and telecommunications related patent applications and is fluent in Japanese. He has a keen understanding of the US and Japan Patent Systems.

James’ analytical and cross cultural expertise is a key asset enabling GTT to provide superior, real-time customer relationship management to GTT’s Japanese clients. James also supports patent assessment related engagements on a worldwide basis. James is a graduate of Princeton University where he specialized in Computer Science.
