Biography

Tyler McKinley joined GTT Group in 2022 and brings significant strategic, operational, and intellectual property experience to the GTT team.

Tyler cares passionately for innovation and the innovator. He holds 21 patents in the areas of precision timing and geolocation, mobile devices, steganography, smart meters, synchronized metrology in power systems, and video encoding.

Over his 25 year career Tyler founded or co-founded numerous startups taking his most recent endeavor from concept to strategic acquisition in seven years. His career has been global, spending significant time in Zurich, Brussels, London and Hong Kong.

Tyler loves the outdoors, travel and fitness and has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon School of Journalism. He and his wife have three sons and live just outside Portland, Oregon with their Great Dane named Percy.
